Obert Life is Good

After two heart attacks and a ruptured appendix in less than three years, Mary & I have adopted a new philosophy about life, and that Life is Good. We try to take nothing too seriously, and have as much fun as possible. Work will always be there tomorrow. Sorry Liz- Don't hold your breath for your inheritance!

Oops!

Mary went to the Doctor today to find out why her ankle has been bothering her so much the past couple of weeks. She found out she has a partially torn tendon, and needs to wear an air-cast boot for 4 to 6 weeks. This is exactly what she wanted to hear before heading out on a golf vacation where WE ARE GOING to play 5 rounds of golf while we're gone. She'll use her golf shoe on the course and wear the boot the rest of the time.

This a picture of Mary on the Asheville Municipal Golf Course in October, 2005. Great Mountain views and some day, we'll stay at the Grove Park Inn.

Okay Mary, time to take of you. I guess that is what the vacation is for. How are you walking around with a pulled tendon for weeks? Have a great time!!

Did you think if you ignored it it would go away? Been there, done that! Hope it doesn't get in the way of your vacation! Enjoy!

Will you be able to rent a cart? That should be able help with the walking without the cast. But take care, the older ya get, the longer it seems to take to recover. (hee, hee, hee) But do enjoy your vacation. Tell us all about it when you return. Have fun!!
